Hello and welcome to my blog. I’m called Alex Robin and I’m a triathlete based in Scotland currently racing in the youth category(15-16), although I’m still 14. I also do running and swimming. A hobby of mine is mountain biking, which i do with friends, although I’m not great. A cool fact about me is that I’m also half french and speak french fluently.
Unfortunately there’s not been much racing recently but some of my best results include 3rd at IRC (Inter Regional Chamionships) 2018, where the best athletes in Britain compete in their age group against each with. I came back the next year and placed 4th in the 13-14 age category (when aged 13) after having a dig on the bike. I have also won the Scottish champs (2018) and came second the next year in the younger half of the category, and after taking a spill on the bike. That was perhaps my best ever performance. I’ve qualified for the Scotland cross-country team in s2 and taken bronze at the Scottish Schools Swimming for the 200m IM.
This year I’m hoping to qualify for British Super Series so I’ll keep you posted on progress.
